Plan a few bigger events to keep the motivation up:
When you go on a trip there are going to be a-lot of times where not everyone wants to do the same thing at that time. Maybe the one wants to go nap and the other wants to go down the nearest river in blown up tubes. To prevent this causing conflict , make sure to plan a few bigger things on your trip depending on the length. This ensures that there are some things that are actually quite compulsory and then there are other times were everyone can do what they want to , without having the entire trip feel like no one wanted to anything without having a drawn out fight.

We all disagree sometimes , but try and keep it fun and peaceful:
I know that some things on a trip might not end up how it was planned to work out or some inconveniences might occur , but try and keep the peace between all parties. Now I also know that this seams way easier than it really is and can also be very exhausting , so try and get a few easy ays to solve some common problems (not agreeing , not wanting to , ect.)
Say you chose beforehand that when there is a disagreement you re going to draw straws on what to do. When everyone agrees on this conflict solving event , you know that there will always be some way to solve the problem at hand.
We all love food , so make sure to be ready for the big hunger:
Now, for some people, not the most important thing, but for the right crowd this can play a vital role in the epicness of this trip. Make sure to pack some of the right snacks for those times were you need something to easy that tiny hunger. Sometimes that can be a big hunger , so also make sure to eat a proper and balanced three meals a day. Plan for different people, so vary your type of food so everyone can find something they like. Try and keep your snacks ranging from filling meals to different little snacks so that you can satisfy everyones hunger. If you want to make double sure, check in with your friends beforehand to see and make sure what type of foods they like.
